Soundboards
Carbon fiber makes an excellent choice for
soundboards. We can match the weight and stiffness of existing
soundboards, or provide different stiffnesses and weights to compliment
the rest of the instrument. We can add local stiffness in critical
areas like the bridge, or add more flex in areas around the perimeter.
We can provide soundboards that need no bracing, or very light and
responsive soundboards that are enhanced with minimal bracing. And keep
in mind, the carbon fiber composite will not expand or contract with
temperature or humidity, so your instrument will stay in tune longer and
last longer.
